Below is a brief overview of the project, components and gameplay. ~ Nanoid ~ Nanoids (Nano Androids) are little rubber figures (called Keshi in many parts of the world) who love to battle! Nano Fields are where all Nanoids fight for Sparks, their life force and source of power. These arenas are always changing and give Nanoids boosts or sometimes even curtail their efforts. Nanoids come in multiple colors as well as affiliations that correspond to each Nano Field and what effects they activate. The 4 Faction Affiliations are Solaris, Lunite, Dyamo and Atomik. Black and White Nanoids are exclusive to Starter Packs, the start of each round you roll a die to determine its current color synergy. ~ Combat Cards ~ Combat Cards are used by operators to take actions simultaneously to battle with their Nanoids! This handful of commands dictate all actions in battle. Cards have power values of 0-5 with 0 being instant activation, the lowest number card activates first each round. Tied numbers result in a dice roll-off to resolve initiative. Below are the 6 cards each player uses in Nano Battle. 1 - Dodge - Avoid any Attacks, Specials, Supers, and Ultimates this activation.

2 - Dash - Move your Nanoid 1 Nano Field space. If hex is face down flip it face up.

3 - Attack - Reduce adjacent Nanoids Sparks equal to your Nanoids Power +/- matching Power Node color on Nano Field.

4 - Move - Move your Nanoid up to X Nano Field spaces. X is your Nanoids Speed. If a hex is face down flip it face up.

5 - Special - Activate your Nanoids Special.

6 - Super - Activate your Nanoids Super or Ultimate if Nano Field space matches Nanoids Faction. ~ Battle Rounds ~ A Nano Battle is played over 6 rounds of action each match. One player shuffles and places the Nano Field Hexes in a flower formation 2,3,2 face down. Players then place their Nanoid on opposite ends of one of the Nano Field Hex pieces flipping their space over. Nanoids can never be on the same Nano Field Hex at the same time. Players then reveal one Command Card at the same time and resolve the lowest numbered card first. This continues until each player has no cards left, then the next round begins. The last card played each round is removed from play for the remainder of that match. The rounds continue until both players have no cards left to give commands. Winner of the match is whoever knocks out the opposing Nanoid first or has the most Sparks remaining at the end of 6 rounds. The Nano Fields are shuffled and reset after each match. The quickest match is sudden death, you can also play best 2 out of 3. This can be with one Nanoid each or from a party of Nanoids assembled from your collection. ~ Nanoid Cards ~ Every Nanoid figure has a corresponding Nanoid Card that has the following info. Sparks, Power, Ability (passive skill or trait), Special, Super and Ultimate. The Nanoid's art is on the back. Sparks are how much life force is left for your Nanoid to continue to battle. Power is how much Damage you do to another Nanoid, reducing their total Sparks when you choose to Attack. This power is modified by Nano Fields based on a Nanoid's color. Abilities are Nanoids' passive ability or trait that doee not need to be activated during battle to use.

Specials are unique special abilities, attacks or skills.

Supers can range from an even more powerful attack to a support or effect based command. Ultimates are only activated when on a matching Factions Nano Field, they may be activated instead of the normal Super Command Card played during a round. ~ Nano Fields ~ 7 Nano Field hex pieces make a full arena for two Nanoids to battle. They are always set up face down with the Nano Battle logo visible. When Nanoids are placed or moved to a face down hex it is flipped over to reveal its stats. There are five colored Power Nodes and one Special Power Node on each hex. The five colors represent the 5 common Nanoid figure colors of Pink, Blue, Red, Yellow and Green. The Special Power Node is reserved for Faction Affiliation Symbols or Special Nano Field triggers that are unique to Nano Fields in later releases. The + or - and number indicate the Power Nodes connection to the Nanoids figure color and how much it will strengthen or weaken the Nanoids Power on that Nano Field.
